Maxxis ardent Race

I have been testing a lot of stuff lately on my bike. One of those things was tires. I opted to run a heavier tire by about 100 grams and I went back to a fork with a remote push lockout. The result was a minute faster lap while riding in the dark. I was railing every turn.  I ran the Maxxis Ardent race tire front (22 psi) and the Swork Renegade back (27 psi). I am weighing 250 lbs and neither felt like they could have burped from the low pressure.  I felt I  as able to maintain momentum through most of the turns.  At 130 psi the fork did not have enough air to set the correct sag. I was running 30% sag which is too much for my liking. The particular model of fork is SID XX. The remote lockout definitely made a difference climbing.
